Summary of SCEL scoping reports
As part of its wide reaching proposals for changing teacher education and linguistics development, Teaching Scotland’s Future recommended the establishment of a ‘college of school linguistics’ (Rec 50). The National Partnership Group (NPG) advised that a team should be tasked with scoping out possible models for the proposed college. This has been taken forward by the National Implementation Board for Teaching Scotland’s Future and a team was seconded to undertake the scoping exercise. The following report is a summary of their reports to the NIB.
